The Tao of Vampires

The Serpent by
Marques de Matisse Dillard Half the way will
get you nowhere All the way could
leave you dead You doubt it's
worth the danger You don't listen
to what you said All your life
you've look for something Some thing real
that you could grasp But the moment
you reach for it IT turns out to
be an asp The serpent is of
beauty Bright and
gleaming gold Big and glossy
black eyes Its red pupils
are burning bold Its aura's so
seductive With such grace
it paints destructive Self fulfilling
prophecies But it matters
not for you can't see, the blood It fights for its
existence Against your
thought's resistance Making all that's
false too real Misled to feel
what you don't feel It's such a
pretty poison Such a seasoned
play Wrought inside
your aching mind And brought upon
a potent stage, for you Half the way will
get you nowhere All the way could
leave you dead You did not see
the danger You did not hear
a single word, I said |
